3rd Place Pork

This past weekend we cooked at Cape Girardeau’s 19th ANNUAL CAPE BBQ FEST. It was a great contest… lots of fun. This was probably the most parting KCBS contest I have ever been to.

We did pretty good overall… aside from our chicken, which we knew was screwed before we even turned it in.

But we hit a 3rd Place with our pork, so that’s another big win for The BBQ Rub.

This weekend its all about practice… practice chicken and brisket, practice build blind boxes faster… and just practice getting the times perfect on my UDS.
