    Hey Malcolm,
Just discovered your utube postings. I’ve been smoking on a large big green egg for about 10 years now and I’ve learned a lot from your postings.
I noticed your meat injector when you did the whole pork shoulder. Where can I find one?
    Haven’t had any luck.
    Thank you, Rick Rimer

    Hey Malcolm,
I am torn between the Yoder YS640 and the Rec Tec 700. Would you choose the Yoder everytime? Have you ever cooked on a Rec Tec?
    Love your videos man!
    Thanks.

    • Malcom Reed says:

No, I wouldn’t always choose the Yoder – but I’ve never cooked on the Rec Tec so it’s a hard call. Yoder is very heavy duty but uses a lot of pellets…

  4. Mark Duncan says:

I just bought a rec tec 700 and it is incredible! This smoker is for control freaks, I mean control enthusiasts, it really is what they advertise. Low temp of 180 and extreme high is 540. Couldn’t be happier.
