Well, we just finished the first major contest of the year, Southaven Springfest (the MS state championships) and we made finals!
It was our second time to final at Springfest, but it was our very first time out there cooking whole hog – so we are very happy with our trophy!
We ended up in 3rd place, but we figured out what little changes we need to make for Memphis in May BBQ in just a few weeks. We are going to make finals there, too… but this time we are going to take GRAND instead of 3rd!
