Another upcoming BBQ contest for the folks that are interested. I just received this email the other day… Hamstock is coming! Downtown Ridgeland presents our 3rd Annual BBQ & Music Fest. Benefitting Adam’s Project to help build a state of the art handicapped-accessible playground in Freedom Ridge Park. Bring the family out for Greater Jackson’s premier BBQ and Music festival. Free admission! Saturday, June 4, 2011 Noon-10pm Downtown Ridgeland Hamstock is located in Ridgeland’s historic Jackson Street District on W. Jackson St. The BBQ Festival & Live Music stage will be on Madison Dr. (enter from W. Jackson St.). The entire district will be open for shopping and dining, and area businesses will have festival specials, giveaways, activities, music, & more. Bring the whole family and some lawn chairs.
