At my house we always have several pounds of leftover pulled pork after a contest, and I love coming up with different ways to put it to use.
This Grilled Pulled Pork Pizza recipe combines two of my favorite food groups…BBQ and Pizza.
To keep it simple I’m using a couple prepared pizza crusts that you can find at the grocery store. (If you do have a favorite dough recipe, I’d love to hear it).
What makes this Grilled Pulled Pork Pizza recipe special is the white sauce I use as a foundation. It’s a variation of my Alabama White BBQ Sauce, and it goes great with pulled pork.
White BBQ Pizza Sauce (makes enough for 4-5 pizzas)
2 cups Mayo
¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
½ Tablespoon Black Pepper
½ Tablespoon Granulated Garlic
½ Tablespoon Table Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
I’m firing up my Grilla Kong Ceramic grill for this cook but you can use any grill set up for indirect cooking. Just run the temp up to 400⁰ and hold it steady.
To assemble the pizzas, spoon 1/4 – 1/2 cup of White Sauce onto each crust and spread it out. Add a little finely diced white onion, plenty of shredded cheese (I like a blend of mozzarella, jack, and cheddar), and the pulled pork. Top the pork with additional cheese and a final drizzle of the white sauce.
You want to cook the pizzas one at a time on the grill. Transfer each one to the grill grate using a pizza peel or cutting board.
On my Kong I use the heat diverter to even out the heat but you could also use a pizza stone.
Cook each pizza for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust browns. You’ll want to keep a close eye on it to avoid burning.
Remove the pizza from the grill once the bottom is brown and drizzle with your favorite Hot Sauce. Cut each one into desired slices and serve.
This recipe is super easy and it’s a great way to get the whole family involved. Give it a try the next time you have some left over pulled pork.

Great recipe. My grandkids have me make these pizzas for them once a week. I usually cook 4 of them. They cheer when they find out I am making BBQ pizza
Just made this and it was fantastic. I was sceptical of using white sauce, but it was great. I used a red onion and a homemade sourdough crust and it was perfect.
Malcom,
Just wanted to say I really enjoy how easy you make these recipes sound. Honestly, your direct and friendly approach to grilling/smoking any food is inspiring and appreciated greatly. I’ve already successfully made the pulled pork (Boston butt) recipe and I can’t wait to try this with the leftovers. The glaze, the pork, it was a complete family hit. We actually saved the leftover glaze to grill chicken with and see how that goes. I just wanted to thank you for having this site and recipes available to those new to the smoking aspects of food.
Thanks again, hope to see more videos soon!

I’m going to try this, but make a Mexican Pulled Pork Pizza. Thank you for the idea! That pork will go nicely on a corn meal based crust with Hatch Green Chiles on the meat.
sorry disregard my message. wife said read the directions dummy!!! About signing up for your news letter…lol
