Every Southerner knows that you can’t have a pulled pork sandwich unless you have a good cole slaw. I’ve had several people ask me for my recipe for slaw, so with no further to do:
Killer Hogs Cole Slaw Recipe
1 Bag of shredded Cole Slaw (green cabbage w/ carrots and red cabbage)
½ cup Blue Plate Mayo
¼ cup Sugar
¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tea Salt
1 tea Black Pepper
1/8 tea Celery Seed
Mix all of the above ingredients in a large bowl until combined. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.

I love this slaw and have made it many times. After the first time, I cut each ingredient amount by half and like it even better, as I don’t like too much mayo or liquid effect with my slaw. (Or if we have guests, I’ll use 2 bags slaw and use recipe as is). This really completes the BBQ meal!
This is an awesome recipe and we have made it numerous times. If you don’t want the additional moisture, mix the sugar, salt and celery seed and place in a colander over a bowl for several hours, then complete the recipe after discarding the water in the bowl.
[…] Top the whole thing off with a heaping mound of coleslaw and the top bun. (you can get the recipe for my coleslaw here) […]
