Smoking green beans is a great side dish that is easy and delicious.
You can use any pan or pot, but I use a cast iron dutch oven and add 4 -6 cans of green beans.
Then I add diced onion, diced garlic, pulled pork, salt and pepper to my green beans. Then add two ham hocks and cover it all with chicken broth. You can omit or replace any of these ingredients to your liking for your smoked green beans.
Put the green beans on the smoker and allow it to smoke at 250-275 for 2 – 3 hours. This easy green bean recipe makes a great side dish everyone loves.
Try smoking green beans on your grill next time.

What wood would you use for the smoker?
I like a mild, fruit wood
Should it be covered with foil or anything?
Sorry I watched the video after
no – let it get that smoke flavor
