Up-Coming Competition BBQ Contests

I always get emails and letters in the mail about all the different BBQ contests in the KCBS and the MBN circuits, and I’m trying to remember to post them all here (those that I am attending and even those I can’t make).

I got two letters in the mail a while back and I thought I would post them for anyone who is interested…

MBN Barbecue Network Competition

The is a contest put on by Ducks Unlimited and it’s the Arkansas State Championship and it’s sanctioned by MBN. You can visit their website for more information or call Bill Couch at (870) 793 – 5231

This next contest isn’t until October, but if your interested you might want to go ahead and mark your calendar. From what I have heard, this is a pretty big festival and it’s pretty cool.

Memphis BBQ Network sanctioned cook-off

If you have an opening in October, then this would be a great contest to cook. Checkout their website and you will see the list of festivals and other events they have going on that same weekend.
